My Search
The next part of my journey is my search for a living kidney donor — a step toward healing, hope, and more time with the people and moments I love.
A living donor matters because:
Better outcomes: Living kidneys last longer and work better.
Faster transplant: A living donor gives me the best chance to avoid dialysis. Waiting for a deceased donor could take 6–8 years.
Safe for donors: Most people return to their normal routines within just a few weeks.
No cost: All testing and surgery are covered.
Life-changing impact: One generous act could completely change my future.
